About Edee Harris Fitness

Hi, I’m Edee.

Mum, Pre & Post – natal exercise specialist, Personal Trainer, and Bootcamp coach.

I live in the beautiful sunny small town of Motueka and work across both Nelson / Tasman regions.

I originally studied at Otago University where I earned my Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports Science. Here I majored in Exercise Prescription and Exercise Science. Since then I have continued to upskill myself each year as well as working in the industry for over 10years now.

I have a real passion in all things women’s health and believe in not only coaching and supporting clients to achieve their goals but also educating and empowering them to be able to make these changes themselves. 

 

I strongly believe when it comes to an individuals health and fitness a full rounded approach where many health professionals work along side one another you to ensure you attain overall health, fitness and well being is the best approach.

I am lucky enough to work in an industry that I am so passionate about. When I am not wearing active wear you will find me wearing bright colours, enjoying coffee & walks with friends, singing the wrong words to 90s pop songs, and patting the odd strangers dog.

Mumma's Move & Connect

After becoming a mum myself I was pondering the idea of how to help mothers feel better, less isolated and meet new people going through a similar life stage. I though about the power movement has physically, mentally & emotionally & my ability to bring groups together. So the idea that starting a weekly walk where pregnant mums or current mothers could come, move & connect with one another could be valuable in this space. 3 years on this small idea has taken off.
